The Online Flower Shop

Executive Summary

This project will be required by an Aroma-World Limit Company (AWLC) of Taiwan which is focus on the Taipei-area flower shop and founded in 1990s. The company’s president is also a flower lecturer of one Technology School of Taipei.

Thus, the website design will focus on the Online Flower Shopping Center Design and also offer a place for its students can easily communicate with their lecturer. Furthermore, this website will be played a role of assisting their marketing plans and spread the imagination and information around flowers.

The Art-Design Plans will be required of attraction and desire using images to make the audiences who browse this website will tend to feel the aroma of flowers and want to make orders of flowers, or have highly interests about flowers.

This websites will both fit the Shopping Catalogs Systems and Customer Management Systems. And Use user-friendly icons to show the convenient while the audiences browse.

The final achievement of this website will be focused on the local main target customers to increase its reputation and image of its brand which will achieve the dream with combining life style and comfortable design and show the fashion brand of indicators.

1. Purpose

The AWLC online flower shop is an image styles web site; it will be focused on the local main target customers to increase its reputation and image of its brand which will achieve the dream with combining life style and comfortable design and show the fashion brand of indicators.

2. Technical Plans

This session will show the technical part of website design. It will include the program language of website, database and the system platform. Also, it will show the proper internet browsers and make sure all the linking will be checked.

n The OS will use FreeBSD platform which is located in the Central Electronic Room of Hinet, Taiwan.

n Broad-band: Share T1 lines which can use for 1.5 Mbps/1.5 Mbps (upload/downloads)

n Program Language & Database : PHP version 5.04 plus Mysql Server 2.05

n Flash presentation version 9.0

n Dynamic Javascript support

n CSS employed for most layout

n Each Article publish system will use WYSWYG modules

2.2 Testing

The website will undergo both function and usability testing prior to release. Functionality will be check by the developers and designer through the Internet. This testing will use at least the following browsers and configurations:

n Internet Explorer 6 and 7

n Mozilla 1 and 2

n Firefox 1,2,3

n Broadband connection and speed testing

n Domain Name setting and make sure the globe connecting linking (e.g. Taiwan, China, HK, Japan, Korea, America, Australia etc.)

l Linux as much as possible distribution (e.g. Red hat, Mandriva, Blue linux etc..)
